Majestic Battery Production Scrap

Battery manufacturing generates significant scrap before a single cell ships – electrode offcuts, rejected cells, material from line commissioning and yield ramp. It is also the most valuable material in the chain: clean, uncontaminated, and arriving with a known chemistry.

Majestic handles anodes, cathodes, black mass, copper and aluminium from production scrap and end-of-life cells, recovering the nickel, cobalt, lithium, manganese, graphite and copper they contain.

It’s the fastest route to domestic supply. Cobalt, lithium, graphite and battery-grade nickel all appear on UK and EU critical minerals lists, with refining concentrated in a handful of countries. Production scrap exists today, wherever cells are made – years before EV batteries reach end of life at scale – and recovering it close to source avoids the emissions of mining, shipping and refining halfway around the world.
